Research Grade Telitacicept靶标为肿瘤坏死因子配体超家族成员 13B，在 B 细胞的生命活动中扮演关键角色，通过与 B 细胞表面受体结合，精准调控 B 细胞的存活、增殖与分化，是维持体液免疫平衡的核心环节。一旦该靶标表达异常，会引发一系列严重的自身免疫疾病。在系统性红斑狼疮患者体内，BAFF 过度表达，致使 B 细胞过度活化，产生大量自身抗体，攻击自身组织器官，引发多系统损害；类风湿关节炎患者的关节滑膜中，BAFF 水平升高，促使炎症因子释放，加剧关节炎症和骨质破坏。此外，干燥综合征、原发性胆汁性胆管炎等疾病的发病进程也与 BAFF 密切相关。
